Been sick, still sick orz



Husband has also been home with me the past few days, he is also sick but with something completely different. Brightside his job is really nice about sick days at least and they don't punish him for calling out so he can actually rest without fear of losing his job. Unlike the rest of us LOL



All the ash and wind blowing all the smoke and Sandy fire towards our way aint helping orz Masking up is all I can do if I need to leave the house for whatever reason. I'm one zone away before it stretches out to me, then we will be on alert to evacuate, but like for realies. It's been spreading but around 300 acres a day now. News says that they are getting more resources to help. Right now we are at 2.1k acres :(



Bright side, my mother in law's home that was about 2ish miles away from the fire, her home is zoned from red (evacuate) back to yellow (be ready and set to go) now so she is better off currently than before. Still wished she had just left. You literally can't see a foot in front of you out there :(



As of this evening, it also switched from 15% to 22% containment, so much better T_T!!



One of the islands for the Channel Islands, specifically Santa Rosa Island, is on fire cause of some fucking lazy ass idiot that crashed his sailboat there and used a signal flare the wrong way, the flare landed on the island cause he shot towards the land and not the ocean. YOU ARE AN ADULT, YOU SHOULD KNOW HOW TO USE A SIGNAL FLARE. All he had to do was hike like an hr, the island isn't that big, there are camp grounds THIS IS KNOWLEDGE ANY SHOULD KNOW. And he'd run into help. There are boats that go there like 3 times a day, I hope he is charged, what a complete waste of life.
