Memorial Day

I drank matcha at 2pm yesterday and now I'm wide awake at 1am. One thing I do to keep myself on top of remembering to get things done is before I sleep I make a list of chores/errands. If I can get at least one thing on that list done I won't feel bad about myself orz My memory issues make it hard to do things cause hey step one, I gotta remember LOL

It's also easier for me to get things done when people are literally just not in my way. I live woth 4 other people, not including my husband. Someone is always where I need to be and it's very irritating so my brain is just like kay, I give up, I aint doing shit today. I will zoom through cleaning and chores around the house otherwise when left alone.

Booked a movie reservation for The Sheep Detectives tomorrow. I wanted to see it since I saw the trailer, everyone that's seen it are crying on social media during the credits so I'm gonna bring tissues... LOL the only other time I did that was for the Anohana film haha
I remember the first time I saw my husband cry was for the tv series of Anohana, it was during I can only assume Anime Expo 2011. We use to bunk with like 10 other people in one hotel room for anime conventions, one friend in the room purchased the newly released blu-ray for the series and we all agreed to watch it together. It's 12 episodes so not even that crazy to marathon. If you've never seen Anohana, my husband describes it as anime Bridge to Terabithia.

I watched it online, weekly release, prior to this viewing party. My husband had no clue going into it what would happen. Of course we all cried. One girl cried so hard we were trying to comfort her by telling her to smell a Lots-o'-Huggin' Bear. But her nose was too stuffed T_T

oh man i'm sorry :( I know there was a big one last year for portugal, it's crazy how fast it can get out of control. the one by me apparently started when they were trying to CLEAR the area to prevent fires too. some of the embers have started other fires elsewhere near me but those have been easier to put out so far

i really loved it. it was unpredictable, dealt with serious topics in a fun way. I liked that they address issues that most people take for granted in their day to day
