Woke up feeling stupid horrible T_T
Felt so nauseous; I was falling in and out of sleep until 2 pm I was finally able to get up, but I was extremely hungry. Figured I'd go easy mode and made jok. My family/people always called it jok. Other cultures say congee, rice porridge, etc. There's maybe different ways to enjoy it.
Jok (โจ๊ก, pronounced joke)
2:16 PM
When I say easy mode, I meant that I boiled 1 1/2 cup of chicken broth with a premade cup of microwavable rice to my desired thickness. Takes less than 30 mins, might have taken me like 15 mins tops? Depends on which burner on the stove you use (the bottom right one is always way more stronger than the other burners for me, other people have said different spots works more better for them).
Yes, I used a metal bowl. It was clean, on the drying rack from yesterday and not far away from me in the cabinet LOL I had also made soft boiled eggs yesterday so I added that too. Boil water, once it bubbles drop in your eggs straight from the fridge, (mine were in the water for 7 mins). Adding distilled white vinegar and salt to the water will help you peel the shell easier. After the time is up, drop the eggs in an ice bath. Let it sit for 10 minutes before peeling, or do w/e you want, I'm not your supervisior LOL

Archer Season 2, Episode 7
You can use it for ajitama (ramen eggs), mayak eggs (drug eggs), egg salads (it's hella soft but your preference, I use them for copycat japanese 7-11 egg sando cause I aint pay $5.99 (I'm in California) for that).
Also added furikake cause why not and fish sauce. I've seen others use sesame oil, soy sauce, garlic oil, even truffle oil. W/e makes you happy. Lastly green onions that I've been regrowing cause I am poor and I've been able to regrow these onions like 3 times now, saving whatever I can and trying to go to the store less frequently too.
11:00 PM
I'm sitting in the kitchen at the center island on my laptop just reading because I can't sleep and husband needs to get up at 4 AM for a 6 AM class that's in DTLA.
I hate when it's late at night and then you hear noises. I try to be logical and calm myself down but then I hear things falling down to the ground in the other room next to me, I go over to check it and the only thing out of place are some plastic looking latches? I have no clue what they're for (the room is just a storage area basically for the rest of the family we live with), not sure how they fell but they were the only things on the floor currently that would have made the noise I heard. I left it and walk back to the kitchen. A few moments later something else falls, I go back and now there's some plastic bag next to the plastic latches in the same spot. I stop and try to think, what would make it move?? Then I realized it was the a/c, when it first kicks on it's really strong. So it was strong enough to blow the latches to the floor, then also push a bag over. As I bend over to go to pick up the items the a/c kicks on again and now wind is blowing on me. Proving my guess right.
I'm a big scaredy cat T_T Doesn't help that when I was little my parents let me watch those unsolved mystery/crime shows with them. So I'm just on edge about everything when I'm essentially alone. It also doesn't help that more and more houses by me keep getting broken into orz. But, at least that gut feeling of dread in my stomach is finally gone XP
