Today I hung out with my mother. Her birthday was last week . We were gonna go out and eat on her actual birthday but she partied a lot with her friends during the first half of the week that she was too full and tired to come out and eat with me LOL So we rescheduled to this week. She requested to go to Red Lobster.
My mother got lobster linguine.

Decided to treat myself with a couple of new nail polishes from the brand, mooncat. I have no idea where my top coat is orz So the order was intially for that. I vaguely remember emptying an old bottle cause it got too mixed up and thiqq to actually be usable. If your nails take HOURS to dry completely, you need to give in a pay for a quality top coat. Even with a base coat and 4 layers of the actual polish lacquer, then you apply a good top coat, your whole nail should be done drying after an hr. more than reasonable. I live in a very humid environment/home so I imagine it'd be less than an hr for people with actual central cooling in their home LOL
The free polishes were from cashing in my saved points.
I really enjoy doing my own nails. The one time I went to a salon it was very ass. My boss offered to cover me, free is free so I said sure. Since we were going to an award ceremony for the show we worked on and it'd just be a work related expense.
No base coat ._. If you ever do your own nails you might notice that after doing them soooo often your nail beds (actual bare nails) are yellowing. Applying a base coats prevents that staining, certain pigments can stain and yellow your nails. A base coast also helps the polish stick to your nails. Like applying lotion to dry skin, and you layer it with perfume, it makes the perfume last longer. The base coat also makes your nail bed as smooth as possible so that the final look of your nails will be more flawless and prevent chipping, therefor longer lastong. There are also some base coats that can help strengthen your nail beds. Applying a base coat before the actual polish will help your nails' health overall.
They only did one layer yall. They were chargin $50 for no base, one layer, NO TOP COAT. Literally I could get better service at a 1st grader's sleepover LOL
This was legit an insane experience and I'm glad it only cost me my time.

SPOILERS FOR LOVE IS BLIND JAPAN

Love is Blind Season 2, Episode 6
there weren't any gifs from actual Love is Blind Japan season :(
Binge watched, Love is Blind Japan, uhhhhh totally understand why it only lasted one season for Japan LOL Unfortunately they went ahead and filmed during shutdown T_T so it never stood a chance. It's the only relationship dating show I've ever seen from Japan that didn't feature typical side bar commentary from a diversed panel of celebrities LOL The smack talk from the panel were usually the highlights of the over all experience. The format is a little different than the america version that I'm use to. They didn't drag out to the alter like usual.
In my opinion they went out of their way to cherry pick participants to the point that it was obvious. One guy partly worked in Kenya and they found a girl that has been there prior to the show and also enjoyed her time there (he was very intent on having his future wife and maybe kids move with him). That coincidence was just too much for me to believe LOL
A different guy lied about owning a business to his fiancee @_@ and she caught him in his lies in 4k when questioning the business in front of the actual owner >_> yikes. The two guys were friends and the owner didn't think nothing about even splitting the business with his friend, period. The main guy was just straight up delusional TT_TT and deceiving his fiancee. Idk the severity of the actual event cause there's dubbing over subtitles and the subtitles are of what is said in the original japanese language/the subtitles are mistranslated sometimes (usually it is always wrong for anime other live action asian dramas on netflix and things are out of context).
