FINALLY GET TO PLAY DnD

It's Sunday! On Sundays my husband and I go to a local coffee shop and play Dungeons and Dragons. Currently we are on the tail end of finishing up a Icewind Dale Campaign. Hubs is the forever DM, he wishes to switch it up a bit next campaign and have us try The Wild Beyond the Witchlight, it's a campaign that's suppose to make us use our roleplaying skills more. I'm not really good at roleplaying compared to the other players who are veterans at playing DnD compared to me but over the past 2 years I've definitely been good at improvising how to fix issues in a non combative way, so I think that'll really help me with the next campaign at least.
The DnD group is my husband, I've been with him for almost 18 years. We went to the same high school, met when we were in middle school. Not gonna use realnames just nicknames. First guy is one of my hub's friends that he plays "MAGIC": The Gathering friend. I bond over anime with him, we both love Kenpachi from Bleach and let's be real, who doesn't like Kenpachi haha. Second guy is a dude that loves "DEADPOOL" but not in the obnoxious D. Piddy (cosplayer) type of way. He got interested in playing DnD from hearing stories about my husband's campaigns over them playing Heroclix on Saturdays. Deadpool and Magic have done many campaigns with my husband and some of our other friends in between the campaign Deadpool had heard about and the one I'm in with them. Last guy is one of Deadpool's friends. He joined us maybe like 3 months after we started. He's studying Criminal "JUSTICE" right now so he can be one of those experts that goes on the stand in court to give their opinion on a case and get paid over 5k for about 30 minutes of work.

Kenpachi from Bleach
Magic is a barbarian, Deadpool is a wizard, Justice is fighter and I'm a rogue. I'd give a more detailed description of our characters but it's been 2 months since we last played. We are adults over 30 that all have families and busy lives. At the beginning Magic had to skip out because he was a pallbearer at another friend's funeral, another week he was apart of a wedding party. Then weekend work for husband and Justice. Deadpool got a new girlfriend recently. I sometimes have to run errands for husband's abuelita that no longer drives; we live with her. If I'm not helping her out I'm helping my own mother. Today after DnD we are gonna go over to my mom's and help her install a new TV.
I also have memory issues, currrently been in and out of the hospital for the last few months as well for it. At the beginning of April I suffered from a stroke. Got laid off from work. A neurologist said for my memory issues it's most likely that I have pseudo dementia, I'm so stressed and depressed that my brain is mimicking dementia. If I ever stop being sad it'll go away on it's own. I was on anti-depressants but it doesn't help at all if you need the people that hurt you to be on them LOL I just made me unable to cry, I was still extremely sad and stressed.
I was forgetting basic things like how to use the TV remote ._. which all that basically led to me getting laid off because I literally forgot how to do my job. There's no amount of notetaking that could help me, I forgot how to do tasks that I've been doing weekly for over 6 years. The good part is that I'm slowly getting better now that my brain literally has time to heal. I don't think depression will go away anytime soon, given the current state of existing. Everything is literally on fire and any fun that we can have now sadly is just escapism. At least I don't write fanfiction because imagine if I had the AO3 curse LOL
10 AM to 2 PM DnD
Also in this same combat is a demilich (not pictured) 😭

Went across town over to my mom's. She didn't actually need a TV installed, she just needed some help with figuring out how to use a RokuTV. So made her a quick How To guide for her and now she has something to refer to when I'm not around or available.
Over a week ago a mystery amazon package arrived at my mom's house. She's older and super paranoid/scared so she just left it outside hoping an amazon delivery person would come and take it. It had her address but not the right name on the shipping label and the name wasn't one of her neighbors either, or anyone that's lived at our home before (she rents out rooms). Told my mom I would take care of it and took it. Amazon obviously was not going to come back for it.

First world problem. I took the package to return to Whole Foods. I usually do Amazon returns at amazon fresh stores but they don't exist anymore LOL, wild. They didn't have anyone man the return counter at the Whole Foods and it required you to have already gone online and set up a return but I can't do that when I myself nor my mother ever ordered the package to begin with. I went over to the customer service kiosk, yes it's different from the return counter LOL and explained my situation. They said they don't deal with matters like that and I would have to inquire online.
Well that's fuckin' dumb.
